Ultra-Broadband Laser Diodes (UBLD)

Laser diodes continually find new applications as the lasing wavelength is pushed lower into the visible spectrum. Agilecom offers the latest versions and highest quality in broadband laser sources in visible laser diodes and near-infrared diodes for biophotonics and fiber optic sensor systems. In either case, visible or near-infrared, we stock a selection of the more popular laser diodes from several different manufacturers.

By utilizing our unique laser diode wafer fabrication and processing technologies, Agilecom provides the broadband laser diodes with a very broad band, ranging from 60 nm at center wavelength of 830 nm, to 100 nm at 1060 nm, 1310 nm and 1550 nm bands. The broadband laser diodes are packaged in a standard butterfly package case with output power around 2-10 mW. The broadband laser diodes find important applications in biophotonics, fiber optic sensor systems, and fiber optic communication networks. The ultra-broad band laser sources have very small spectral modulation to avoid possible noise in application systems.
